BROADBAND

INTERNET ACCESS FOR ALL, INCLUDING AREAS OF LOW POPULATION

BROADBAND FOR ALL

Language Preservation Technologies views access to the internet as necessity for life and health, as well as a necessary component to language revitalization efforts.  Indigenous communities (plains, coastal, and snowbound) must be able to access healthcare, educational resources, and emergency public safety services.  These communities have the highest vulnerability to Covid-19; however, they have the least amount of access to the internet for online telemedicine and emergency care.  In fact, many community members cannot access the internet at all or can barely do so with a spotty connection.

LPT is aligned with inventors of the newest cutting-edge technologies to make broadband high-speed access available to under served communities.  This new solution can bring broadband to distant and sparsely populated locations, enabling access across tribal lands to members.   Every household will be able to use broadband equally, installed with increased speed, and at a lower price.  No one needs or should be left behind.

BROADBAND INNOVATIONS FOR REMOTE LOCATIONS

Modern communications have changed dramatically with the advancement of technological innovation.  This high-speed broadband solution would not have been available even 5 or 10 years ago, but it is available now.  And it works!  It is installed in certain indigenous areas in Canada, and is now ready for expansion.

LOCAL FULL CONTROL

The technology enables your community to control the cost of services to residents (users) in all areas, and provide employment for your members including, if desired, installation, maintenance, web traffic control, and extended territory coverage.
